I had yesterday a dinner with a Pated watchmaker
who explained 5650 to a collector who did not really understand the watch. Hearing the watchmakers explanation using words like "revolutionary", etc., I only regret that I did not try to get two. Seriously, I wore the watch last night on the dinner when one of the guests asked "what's special about that?"
I knew the details of my 5650 but the most important thing is that it's a fantastic watch to wear.

I was thinking about a recent question on this forum. “If you had just one watch?” I answered my favourite Watch as the 3448 perpetual calendar. But if I could only have one, the 3448 would be a problem in the pool. Casually. Etc. The 5370p would be too, notwithstanding it’s Darth Vader appeal.
5650g would be my one.

I have a bit similar thoughts.
The whole AR project is incredible. Think about 5170. Then add there all the parts of 5450, 5550 and 5650 improving the accuracy, reducing the need of servicing and lubrication and turning the watch basically antimagnetic. Then use the travel time mechanism for the chronograph.
Result: an extremely accurate watch with the softest chronograph on the market plus a much slimmer watch. Probably below 10 mm. Fantastic opportunities for Patek!

5650 could be the one... just fits the bill and the complication is genuinely the most useful one i can think of on a wristwatch.
Any excellent piece ! The blue dial looks great !
This terminator is the grail in terms of accuracy.
