5270P salmon dial
Finally saw this beauty in metal at my AD. The Salmon dial is non-metallic, and like lacquer in texture.
Despite being made of platinum, it doesn’t feel much heavier than the G.
Though there is no Arabia numerals in lower half of dial, the overall balance is still alright to me.
Wish can bring it home soon.

If can only choose one between 5270P and 5131/1P. Which one would you get? [nt]
Certainly it is a hypothetical question and different persons (with his or her own existing collection) will have different view.
In my case, I already have 5270G and 5131R, and find both pieces attractive. But certainly cannot get both.

The enamel dial is simply a jewel which you would like to see it on wrist every day.

Initially I am not that attracted by the cool colour enamel of 5131/1P, but my taste seems to be changing now.

But the lack of numerals is very annoying honestly. For me it ruins what could have been a superb watch
I agree, the lack of Arabic numerals in lower half of dial indeed created some imperfection.
However, due to the lowered sub-dials in the CH29 movement, it simply doesn't have enough space for numerals (even partial numerals) in the lower half.
