I am looking at getting a 3940 and I think I now know which metal I want!

...I can only say, as someone with a 7.25" wrist, this is a perfect size. I tried on the R version that a friend has and it was fantastic. This is the watch that I will almost certainly end up owning someday. It is a classic for a very good reason. I might go for the 'flashier' ref. 5039 with the hobnail bezel (always loved that since the 3919) but other than the bezel it's the same watch (except for the platinum, which is a great thing in a slim watch).

I was wondering what’s your wrist size?

I am hesitating with the 5140 and believe we may have the same wrist size.

It’s my smallest watch and thus the one most likely to be passed down to, and actually worn by, one of my daughters.

I’m thinking the 3940 would be perfect for them as well.
