Happy New Year to you all. This 5230G simply speaks to me in all the languages that I know. It’s gotten more or less all the available wrist time since November 2018.

My personal grail.







I can only agree. Ok, I am a big fan of Patek WT watches, so I might be slightly biased. But still, it is clear they have a lot of charm. Nice one! [nt]

Well with the 5110 and 5130. The only hesitation is the bezel for scratches, but I think the propositions, dial and hands are winners. Best,

So far I haven’t had problems with scratches on the bezel (knock on wood) and I don’t think I take particular care on a daily basis

Yes indeed. I have a number of watches that I am passionate about, including a 5711 and a 5065, but they have all been put on the back burner at the moment. The 5230 has even put a damper on the ever lurking looking out for the next piece in a way none of the other watches have done. Scary

That is a fantastic place to be!

But it’s sad that Patek decided to take out Rio from the city ring. Rio used to be an important city for Patek, including with in-store boutique in partnership with Gondolo for decades.
