To be honest the PP worldtimers have been on my mind of late. Wanted to get your thoughts on both the 5110 and 5230 series, and which is a better piece to collect in the long run?

I can't speak for others or have I experienced the 5230 but I'm happy with the 5110P and it would be my choice.
The 5110 has the curves
Something about the case that somehow looks more sensuous compared to the 5230. Did a bit of thinking tonight and I reckon I can understand why you like it so much.

5230 vs 5110
My subjective answer is both are exquisite time pieces.
I would say that there are four differences in the case design:
1. Case size 38.5 vs 37.0;
2. The newer 5230 has no crown guards.
3. Both have nice lugs, but different.
4. 5230 has an angular, more definite bezel as the 5110 has softer rounded sides
Considering that the both have the 240/188HU motor, the watches are basically the same noting that the same movement is fitted into different sized cases.
subjectively, I own the 5110 and it is a permanent party in my collection.
No doubt the wearer will enjoy either.
