I tried multiple times too in the past, but then I came to the conclusion that resistance with Patek is impossible....;-))) Seriously, I very much hope you'll receive one of these allocations, both WTs are frankly quite spectacular! ;-) Cheers.
They are all outstanding but i think PP are not done. They have to release some Nautilus/aquananut models. If not now, then in few months. They cant leave this market to AP.
Thanks, and no doubt about that for the 2022 collection....I also have a (different but very big....) announcement to make in exactly one week from today ;-)
+1, this 5089G-089 is one of the most stunning for me! I believe they are currently available for viewing to the press and ADs (by appointment), but next week they'll be open to the public. Hope you can be allocated one!👍🥂

5089G-089, "In tribute to the pioneers of aviation"
The 2022 Rare Handcraft Collection --- here's for you the full press release! I'm being told by Patek the RH collection is currently available for viewing for press and ADs, and will be open to the public starting April 6 at the Geneva Exhibit. Enjoy!!
PS: And since I have a special love for the 5177G line (Rare Handcrafts with hobnail bezel), here are for you the two new "Chameleon" models offered this year (I believe they are not available on Patek's site yet, but will be soon):
Thanks, would love to see them in person! I'm TOTALLY in love also with this 5089G from the press picture, called "In tribute to the pioneers of aviation"! :-)
Many thanks Sham, and congrats on placing an order on this gorgeous 5231G! ;-) Interestingly, note the different map with respect to the 5131G, much more focused on the region not covered by the 5231J ;-)
Honestly, I prefer the map on the 5131G as I have spent my whole life in Asia and Europe. Also there is snow on the 5131G, a feature which I feel adds to the contrast of colours. I would be thrilled to be allocated a 5231G even if I do not receive it soon. I would be grateful as I can imagine the list on this watch. Which is why I would be happy with the new 5230P if I am unsuccessful with the 5231G.
Good points, and the 5230P would also be terrific -- I'm sure it will be much more requested than the G and R! I believe the new J and G maps are meant to be complementary, which makes it quite interesting for the rest of the 5231 series ;-) Cheers.
Many thanks Alberti, Rare Handcrafts have only recently been introduced in the GE line and I think they are truly spectacular! Hope you can be allocated one if you decide to apply ;-) Enjoy.
Nope, I was not given any of the Rare Handcraft prices yet, but usually the MSRP for these models is in the $90 to $120k range (depending on model, currency, etc.)
Indeed, I think it's a pretty great mix this year, also including some very modern and more casual offerings (see e.g. the new Calatrava, which I find gorgeous! ;-) Thanks for commenting.
The case design works. That hobnail on the side in a large 40mm case works. But that dial with the flattened out section for the Patek Philippe branding to me needs to be seen in person. Patek Philippe normally gets their dials right. But this one might not be great. Have to see it in person to be certain. Nevertheless, it'll sell. And it'll look good with a Brunello Cucinelli outfit!
That's for sure, everything looks great with BC (and even greater with Loro Piana! ;-)) Alas I can't make it to Geneva this time of year, but I'm BADLY looking forward too to seeing the new models (we'll do via Zoom for now)... Cheers.
One more useful document specifically for our Rare Handcraft lovers, with a selection of pictures that includes reference numbers (I believe none of this is on Patek's site yet, but it will be soon):
