Patek Philippe

Hi I am just new here, I am not a watch collector but I have always loved Patek Philippe watches ( late 1950's to early 1960's) I just like that simple style. I am turning 40 next year and my wife has promised me one, however she has also asked that I do some propper research to narrow it down a little. SOOO here I am, not sure if this is the right place to start but it looks pretty good so far.

I am a Bowen Therapist for animals mainly dogs and race horses in Melbourne Australia, I enjoy restoring vintage bmx's and I still ride them too.(yes you read that right) I also like fishing getting in the garden and playing with my dog. Married for 10 years and that's me in a nut shell.

As I said before I am just starting a search on which watch I would like for my Birthday next year.
