Patek Philippe

After a somewhat long and difficult hunt.As they say, the watch picks you and this one came along at just the right moment, free of hassles.WG wasn't even my first choice of metal but I'm so happy with it now!Perfect fit and looks great with the brown strap IMO.I won't bore you with the details of this watch as you all know it well.

The regular one doesn't fit me well especially on deployant (wrist challenged,like you). With this, it is so much more  comfortable and the deployant is centred on the wrist. If you are still on standard issue, I suggest you switch to the short strap.Difference is night and day and you'll enjoy wearing it so much more!

I have my straps custom made by Camille, whom also make straps for Patek.
I have them made for me at 75/105 mm with 3mm padding instead of the Patek 4mm , and I also
made it double croc like the Dufour's straps (which are made by Camille too)
Besides this, I also change to tang buckle as it seems more elegant and more comfortable for this watch.

For my relatively small wrist(6.5"),it sits and feels perfectly and I'm not just saying that.Other Pateks that I have tried such as the 5070 or 5102 are somewhat on the big side for me and others ie. 5159,5040etc. didn't somehow fill out sufficiently on the wrist.It also doesn't feel chunky or heavy and a watch with such complications it's quite an achievement.So everything adds up to a perfect Patek,for me anyway.

top watch, u must feel at the top of the world, top how it fits ur wrist! ... congratulation! It seems the process of getting it satisfied u fully, and thats part of the pleasure. About the choice, like i said, u couldnt go wrong. Plus u seem to enjoy ( as i do ) Brown straps. Thats the great advantage of a light dial over a dark one, u can switch strap, they all look good and give a completly different feeling to the watch.
