Patek Philippe

This watch has been somewhat of a holy grale for me for quite some time now and today a neat little UPS package arrived at my office. After having sold my Audemars Piguet Royal Oak my wrist felt a little lonely and I figured it was about time to upgrade. Patek is one of those brands you dream to own and when you do, there’s just something special about it. Can’t give the full review just yet since I’ve only worn it (a few sizes too big) for a couple of hours now. All I can say now is; Wow.

Even nicer watch! This watch wears so incredibly well. It has a thousand tiny joyful details that you will only discover in a boring meeting. It's light as a feather - you check with your heart in your mouth just to make sure it's still on your wrist. It's discreet - most people would never give it a first look, let alone a second one. And it's adaptable - from wearing with ratty old jeans going grocery shopping to Thierry Stern's example of wearing it with a dark suit, silk tie, and French Cuffs you really can't go wrong. Enjoy!

Your pictures are somehow thetrical, but fit quite well with the watch.

When I first saw these, as with the Nautilus range, I didn't like them.

But now my opinion of them has been completely reversed.

One of the beautiful things about this particular piece, imo is the colour of the dial.

No matter how or at what angle you look at it, it looks different, especially in bright sunlight.

Big congrats. Remember to show us some more pictures when you've bought more Pateks!

The Aquanaut is the timepiece that, almost ten years ago, made me fall in love with Patek Philippe, a brand previously known by me only for the their super-classic Calatravas with hobnail patterned bezel. Aquanaut is still one of my favorite watches, but I confess to be a bit disappointed by the fact that most fans do not consider it to be up to the prestigious Maison, like it was the black sheep of the family. I remember that, when a few months ago I posted a question on this model, I have received no reply! However, when a couple of years ago, thanks to a very passionate and prepared Authorized Dealer, I could try one Aquanaut exactly like yours, I was absolutely, totally stunned: a marvellous sensation!

Finally, I want to make you my best compliments for the beauty of your photos, that give to this model a unique charm, doing justice to his strong personality.
