Congrats on your Aquanaut! I was traveling a few weeks ago and stopped in at a few places to look at some Pateks and APs. I'm kind of facing the age old dilemma Royal Oak vs. Nautilus. The Patek dealer did not have a Nautilus but they had an Aquanaut 5167/A1. The Aquanaut is a watch that looks much better in person than photos. Until trying it on in person I never noticed the depth of color to the dial and how it shimmers in the light. It really had nice details that I had previously overlooked such as the applied numerals and the nicely designed clasp release mechanism. Congrats on your new purchase, its a watch that has opened up another potential option for me to consider.
Best regards,
Dino
Like Dino has already mentioned, photos can't do it full justice.
The colour of the dial appears to change colour depending upon the light. And the brown colour of the dial is so lovely to look at.
Imran, looking at your photo, has reminded me of why I love the 5167 on a bracelet.
Of course, as I have said before, the lume on this watch is absolutely awesome.
