Ref. 1503 has caught my attention...
after a visit to the Patek Philippe Salon in Geneva. The one I have my eyes on is a steel 1503 with arabic indicators at 12, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 o'clock (pic from the web):

I should clarify...
that the visit sparked my interest in PP in general rather then in this specific watch. I never really looked at the manufacture specifically but took the chance during my visit at the Salon while attending SIHH. It was an educating but dangerous rendez-vous: It infused a new understanding and appreciation for la horologerie Genèvoise, which is different from the one practiced in the Vallée de Joux, for example.
No, this piece is what I have seen 'virtually' only. Besides, PP is extremely strict in forbidding to take pictures at any of their premises. In fact it seems easier to acquire a PP Grand Complication than taking images at the Salon...

I will pick up a special piece from service within a month. I asked if they could open the back cover in the Salon in order to take some pictures from the movement. The reply was "naturally".
On the other hand I will take pictures of my watch - not the Salon in general.
Did you notice that they have some outstanding staff members in Geneva Salon? I really enjoy my visit every time and all the visits have been very educational.

I have to admit that I initially felt a bit intimidated by the interior and the, well, reserved welcome, but our host warmed up after some time. I will certainly return and see if and how my first impression has to be adjusted.

Hi there. I own this exact watch which belonged to my grandfather and was passed down. It is a wonderful time piece and I have had many people

I would be curious to know what the selling price is as I know very little about the watch other than it was purchased in the early 1940's.
