Please help identify a model
Posted this on TZ before, surprised that couldn't find answer yet. Anyway, just saw a model in the flesh (so no photos) and can't find it on PP's website, wondering if anyone can help?
1) It's rose gold, I believe, or could be yellow... most probably rose gold.
2) Case is round, and quite thick, and the side isn't smooth, has vertical grooves around.
3) I think the complication is just date.
4) The dial is quite unique, separated into 4 quarters, at 2 o'clock, 4 o'clock, 8 o'clock and 10 o'clock, 2 quarters are smooth and 2 quarters with grooves.
5) Big red centered second hand.
6) Brown rubber strap like on the 5167R

To be honest, your describtion sounds ...
odd to me. Sorry!
Brown rubber means Aquanaut 5167R, if it was not "customized".
Your case and dial describtions sounds like this ...
... but it has much more complications than just the date and it is hard to imagine on a rubber strap
If you don´t have a picture, maybe you can do a quick sketch? Now I am curious.

Maybe a Breguet
Probably not a PP. Some Breguets have a red seconds hand.
