I reckoned it is the dial that makes it endearing. The added complication is a million bonuses as well. 

Love the 5078P a classic Patek Philippe Repeater in white...

and I was lucky enough to listen to it several times. Only the lattest one in RG I didn´t listen to, yet. Something to change!

To bring it even closer to perfection I would love to see it with a manual movement one day ...

One of the great watches from PP, or any other manufacturer.   So "simple."  And to go with this simplicity should be a manual movement.   That would be perfection.    An auto movement makes little sense in a 3 hand watch, super complication or not.
