For my Anniversary piece to arrive, I had the pleasure of meeting up with a cousin and friend
who recently recieved his World Time Moonphase.
He graciously allowed me to try it on.
As others have echoed in previous posts, pictures don't do it justice.
The sculpted lugs extend beautifully from the case towards the strap.
I found the cities to be clear and legibile, while the moon and stars
that occupy center stage quite mesmerizing.
My focus then turned to the anniversary deployant buckle.
I was interested because, from what I understand, most of the anniversary pieces
are fitted with exactly the same buckle and so while I won't be getting a 5575G,I could expect the same on my reference.
While closing the buckle I found that the old way of pressing just behind the cross didn't do the trick.
Instead, I pressed down on either side of the ring that surrounds the cross and the buckle clicked easily enough.
Satisfied with what I had gleaned from my inspection I handed the watch back to my cousin and congratulated him
on his most recent arrival.
I continue to wait patiently for my watch to arrive, and look forward to sharing
some pictures as well as enjoying the posts of others as they receive theirs.
Sincerely
H.
