PP Minute Repeater Meeting in Tokyo
Amazing things going on almost unnoticed... A PP Minute Repeater Meeting took place in Tokyo (in a private setting) some time ago.
Quite a lineup there as you can see in the embedded film [moderator's note: see Salman's following post]. Would love to let my humble IWC 5240p chime along but probably the direct comparision would let the IWC feel rather small - most likely only half it's size 
The accompanying text in Japanese analyzes the differences Repeaters may have regarding sound volume, echo / reverberations, timbre, interval and tempo. I'll spare you the details, just open up your ears and enjoy.

Very pleasing to the ears. Beautiful watches
wonderful sound , impecable finish. What's not
to expect from patek. Happy to own a patek or two.

Have you noticed the 2nd 5078 is with Breguet hands? is that a customer-made one?
What a gathering!
Some big hitters on that table, and lucky owners. We can spend some enjoyable time with that video going back and forth to compare the sound of the various references. Best of the best.
Would be quite interesting to include the translation of the Japanese text you mention analyzing the sound of the various watches.
Apart from the sounds, if you like diamonds on your watch, I have to say that 5074 is incredible. And one interesting side note, as far as I know, Patek delivers most of these on tang buckles, but mostly deployants preferred by these owners.
