It surprised me in a very good way... love the new size (39.5mm)
I can see it is not everyone's taste...
I am not very find of open dials... but somehow, with it's size perhaps... I liked it as a fun sportswatch:-P
+1 the El Primero is a fantastic movement and Zenith does great watches, but I would consider it only with a plain dial rather than open heart which is a deal breaker for me. Congrats though, and enjoy this 39.5mm watch !

I also prefer the closed dial... but this one felt surprisingly good on the wrist... I see it more as a daily "fun" watch option :-P....
I think it looks great, it is certainly a Zenith with the dial layout. Just needs a date!
I think it has a certain charm that I find appealing, but not a watch I would likely purchase, because of the open dial styling.

Have no problem with the open dial. I look at it as part of Zenith design dna. And I like the shade of blue on this dial too.

Hit's the right spot between the Chronomaster Sport and Original, maybe some dial options... I am looking and the two previously mentioned as my next purchase,

This one sits in between those two... the Original is great, I wish it had the 100m WR and the no date of this open heart... you cannot go wrong with either of your choices 👍
Love the size but prefer the normal dial without the hole personally, though I appreciate the appeal for this one! Great pick!

I feel no love for your Zenith.
Many things why it is not my way a watch should be.
A busy chaotic dial.
A bracelet.
I prefer a Zenith Defy Skyline silver dial green rubber strap, which is in my opinion oké.

I am also not a bracelet guy... despite it's "caotic dial" it still manages to get along different straps... it is good each one of us have different tastes
