The Striking 10th is all business, a bit of a power watch, the New Vintage 1969 is a quirky connoisseur's watch - offbeat, highly individual. One simply cannot substitute for the other, see? (anyone in need of other rationalizations, contact me by PM)
I’m planning to add this quaint essential chronograph as my very next watch purchase, however; still got a ways to go in terms of funding …hopefully by the end of this year.

Trying to fondle a couple of models when I can get to an AD. I like the Striking 10 and the Vintage 1969 as shown in photos, but don't know how they will feel on the wrist. The Split Second looks good too. Prefer a big date if Zenith makes one.
The 2011 models don't seem to smile at me so far.
