I love the "original" Roger Dubuis watches
Wish I would have bought one of these chronos back in the day.
I do have this "original" sympathie in my collection which I believe is as interesting and beautiful as any simple dress watch out there.

Just bought my first Roger Dubuis (after wanting one for years) and I like the new lines (excalibur, monegasque) much more than the historic models.
Don't get me wrong..your watch is certainly nice but to me it is too classic. I don't think they could compete in the market today with yet another classic design - too many watches looking almost the same.
I think that the new lines are more "fun" and distinct. There is more character and the new homage line offers a good combination of both old and new. I would agree that some designs in the new line are too over the top for me but I can see how some people might be attracted by having something different!
I really wish the brand would get back to making watches like this
I a huge fan of pieces like this and the Condottieri, the skeletonized double tourbillons just don't do it for me.
