Pacific Bonsai, Part II
This post is continuing my short series on the trees exhibited in the midst of a conifer forest in Washington. Almost all are situated outdoors in a fantastic setting:

I have been working on collating the signs that describe each tree, but it's quite tedious so I think I'll just start with the pictures. It was a cool, damp summer day (as one would expect in Seattle) with intermittent patches of sun peeking through the tree canopy above us.

In the meantime, I hope (a) you find something relaxing in these images and (b) if in the Pacific Northwest, you will visit this free exhibit. If you prefer less formal arrangements, go on to part III of this story.
