We only fished what we could eat. We tried all kinds of spear fishing options including long Hawaiin guns. We always fell back on single rubber with titanium spear. No screw top just a single flap as our approach was to neutralize the fish by target the neural center.
Ok not to pc but this is what we ate every weekend.
I think as a Mediterranean bother you know the program. I ate fish 5 days a week and we could freeze any extra to eat all season.
Now in my old age I avoid like the plague farm
Raised fish. Tiny fish like smelt and sardines no problem. But all the farm raised salmon Branzino etc. Better
I eat toxics instead.
Over the years i have realized we ate real food in the past so hard to replicate this now. I am hunting grass fed beef and pasture raised eggs.
Fish is in a narrow window of seasonal wild salmon and bacon thSt is not free of nitrates and sugar.
Crazy time to just eat natural foods.
