What is more fascinating than a Watch which escapes a bit from you, techincally speaking?

I would be interested to know how many of the Tellurium owners get all the possibilities of their watches, all their functions / informations.

But I guess that they are all lost of admiration in front of such a defy, decorum, dial...

Would you get it for the astronomical informations, or just because you are fascinated.

Astronomical Information but more for its fascinating "aura". It is more like a painting or a book, one looks at a painting and depending on one's mood or the lighting, one sees something very differently each time, or a book one could open at any page on any given day and one would read and have a different interpretation from the previous reading. That's the fascination, the continuous changing of the perceived secret.

Even if one is not "technical", I think that one must at least have some sort of burning curiosity to understand pieces like this one.

Aesthetics-wise, not my cup of tea but then that is me being casual in my appreciation

Good question, Nico. 

I really enjoy how it provides a graphical perspective on the World. I often gaze at it to see where the sun is rising or setting.

You will have to show me that, next time!

I think SN 23 must be from the future. When I got it, the year was set to 2049.........

... I prefer the recent versions with the finely hand-painted "dials", since the Earth features stand out so much clearer and finer than on the enamel disks.

When I started my preoccupation with UN's astronomical timepieces, I immediately considered the Tellurium the most practial of the Trilogy, and wanted to wear that one. Only later, after many discussions with Ludwig Oechslin and Rold Schnyder, I came to the conclusion that the the Planetarium is the more historical and philosophical timepiece.
