My first post on the forum. Just bought an overseas with titanium face and rubber strap. 2014 model. Am delighted to own my first VC and, as you would expect, I am very impressed with the beauty and quality of the watch. I had to trade in my planet Ocean GMT which I felt was a little too big for my ageing wrist. I am thinking of buying a grey leather strap. Your views and opinions would be appreciated. I do not know if the deployment class is the same for the rubber and leather? I know both the strap and the class will be expensive and so any guidance would be appreciated!
A hearty congrats. Great watch. As long as both straps and clasp are original VC, they are designed to be compatible and easily interchangeable. Your instinct about pricing is spot on. If you have one at your disposal, I would suggest a visit to a VC Boutique. You might also want to look at a black leather strap. I have come to prefer that to the grey.
Thanks for advice. It is a relief to hear that clasp is interchangeable. I agree that the black strap could be better and I will check it out.. I have seen and tried the watch but I cannot collect until next week and will then post some pics.
but, other than having a nice certificate, it doesn't really add to the experience IMHO. COSC standards simply aren't that impressive and VC regulates to a better level of accuracy with a bias against running slow.

Poor pics except for the store shop of my actual watch. Can't capture the beautiful blue of the Omega. Need to get camera out and experiment. Anyhow, my little collection. Impressed with VC, sits a bit higher on the wrist than I remember and pity cannot see movement but great day and travel watch.
looks good. Never had this dual time version of the OS but it seems a very practical timepiece for the traveller. Looks like its gone with the newest generation :-(
