In rose gold the Traditionnelle is just a great watch, and a fantastic size. I like the small seconds at 9 o'clock, its a bit different and I appreciate that. I do with there was a version without the date, but I could certainly enjoy it even with a date window.
Try each watch on and see which one reall makes you smile and go with that one!

If your wrist can take the 40mm of the Patrimony Contemporaine, I would recommend it. If you are looking for an automatic, I would recommend the Contemporaine Automatic without date (cleaner look), but the one with data also presents the date window well (at 6 o'clock). Both these watches (and the Traditionelle) show off their exquisite movements through their see-through casebacks (a real plus!).
If you are looking for simpler dress watches, I would recommend the hand-wound VC Contemporaine, but the PP 5196 is also a safe choice.
By the way, the Patrimony manual & Patrimony auto with date are also available with a black dial, but only from the VC boutiques and (I hear) only up to April or May of this year. So if you live near a VC boutique, it might be worth checking out.
One thing I like about the Patrimony Contemporaine (even the Traditionelle) are the small things, like the design of the indices, etc. which lend a touch of "cool" within the simple design. The Calatrava, while being "elegant and timeless", is just a little too bland for my personal taste.
In the end, you cannot go wrong with any of these watches, as long as you choose the one that brings the biggest smile on your face!
Good luck!
I strongly suggest that you see the VC Traditionelle that Bill has suggested above. I saw it at the AD and to my untrained eye it was of stunning quality both front and back. The design is also a little different from the other watches you have mentioned though it incorporates both the date and seconds hand.
Best Regards
I've had my 5127R for about 19 months, the honeymoon continues.
