Just to introduce myself and say hello to all. About to purchase the above after a lengthy review of various options. Initially narrowed down to AP RO dual time and VC Overseas dual time. After trying the two on my wrist I prefer the VC. Now the dilemma; should I go for the Black dial or White/Silver Dial (I tried on the white as the dealer did not have the black dial to compare), hence me deciding to ask this well informed forum for help with the choice. And being Friday n all wrist scans of the two options would be most appreciated. Wishing you all a Good Weekend.

Personally I like the white dial better on the Overseas Dual time and Chronograph. I would go with the black dial on the date model. Here is a shot of my chrono.

which is a shame. When I was in the market for the silver versus black dial Overseas Chronograph (old version) the determining factor was seeing how the watches looked on the dealers wrist. Too bad your dealer doesn't have both for a fair comparison.

FWIW, I prefer silver dials over black.

But of course it's for totally personal reasons: 1) I already have some white/silver dials and only one black. Somehow I want to keep the balance. 2) Sporty watches are more sporty with black dial.

But again, it's more a personal choice.
