Vacheron Constantin

While I could probably spill hundreds of words on lug and case design at Vacheron Constantin, I thought I'd keep it short and sweet with what I currently think of as my all-time favorite lug design from the brand: The lugs of the Jubile 1755 anniversary watch:

Of my Les Historiques Chrono:



They complete the very elegant look of the watch, IMO.

It is also one detail that makes me love so much the Minute Repeater skeleton.

If I may suggest that the lug designs most identified with classic Vacheron Constantin are the malte, teardrop and claw...all of which had very appealling models which were complimented by their case and dial designs.  I think I would take certain examples of all for my personal collection.
