So besides the obvious change you made to your unique OS...I see that you also changed the buckle as well ;-)  (I didn't know a Gen. 2 buckle could work on a Gen. 1 bracelet)

I love the "simple" Overseas a lot, I just can't decide if I prefer the first gen or the current one more.  Touch choices! ;-)

I like the Gen 1 due to it's smaller size, 37mm.  But if you can wear a Gen 2 chronograph so comfortably, the size of the Gen 2 automatic should be no problem for you at all.  And the newer bracelet is IMHO the best bracelet available anywhere...plus you have the option to change to a rubber or leather strap.

Certainly one of the best, most versatile watches.

Nice to see the Overseas is a model line that spents more time on the wrist!

It's a great everyday watch. There was a spread about Hollywood producer Brian Glazer in a Sunday New York Times Magazine recently. He was sporting the RG Overseas Chronograph with anthracite dial.
