New Overseas Dual Time Stopped working on day 1
Hello,
I have been faced with the issues that the my overseas dual time stopped working after I bought it brand new at an authorised dealer in Switzerland on Thursday (once I was on the plane), I have handed the watch to an authorised dealer to get it repaired. I am now looking for contact direct at Vacheron to make them aware of the case and to get a faster response than the 6 weeks or so to repair it. Couldn't find anything on their web site.
Can anyone help with a contact at Vacheron Direct, email preferred. Needless to add more about my frustration.

LOL, six weeks is pretty good
by VC standards! The only faster response would be if the AD simply gave you a new watch 
Personally, I feel that would be the fairest (dare I say most ethical) approach to watches that are barely worn before they crap out. Otherwise, they shift the inconvenience onto the customer. Loaners used to be popular back in the day, and perhaps should be considered again.

Warranty service trunaround times are usually faster....
than standard service times, so I think that 6 weeks would be the longest you have to wait. I will ask someone at VC to contact you.

The Director of Internal Customer Service, now taking care of this, they have proposed repair or replacement. I should get the watch during the next week. I have written direct to Mr Torres good reaction in this situation. Thanks for responses.

It sounds as though you decided go go with your watch as opposed to an offered replacement? Just my 2 cents, but if offered, I would want a brand new watch in proper working condition from day one.
