Your observations and the comments of community members here are interesting, even illuminating. I plan to share this post with my contact at PF - North America.
As an additional comment, I'm mystified by the refusal to allow you to photograph the movement. I had no such restriction at WW25 and there are dozens, if not hundreds, of photos of the movement online. The refusal seems silly.
Like you, I'm also a fan of manual winding movements and the sensory pleasure of the winding experience. So I was elated that Guido announced with the reintroduction of the line that all new Toric watch movements would be manual winding and made in gold. This is a great differentiator for the Toric from both the Tonda line and from many other higher end watches. So I am a big fan of that decision. But like a couple of posters here I find that the movement doesn't quite "blow my socks off" like I would expect. I'd give it a "7" or maybe "8" on a scale of "10" from a visual "wow factor."
On the question of strap width, I prefer wide straps or, perhaps I should say, wider straps. They seem to stabilize a watch on my 18.1cm wrist. Finally, I thought the new buckle with logo was a nice touch (although I will admit to not paying it much attention).
Thank you again for your excellent and informative post.
