Thank you for sharing a lovely piece, and many more happy years to come. Could you give some more information on this piece? What is happening at the bottom of the dial with the shruriken in the centre?
Thank you.
"Creating a celestial stage for the lunar mechanism, the lower part of the dial features an elliptical opening, with two moons crafted in aventurine for a subtle mixture of spangled and sequined deep blue. Each moon – one white, one black -- is finished with a comet’s tail trace, set in shaded tones of diamonds and black sapphires. The whimsical mechanism is wound using a flush push button, located at 2 o’clock."
The schtick is that the black trace -- visible in he HW press photo below -- is the "dark side of the moon"

The world has come to a point where there are VERY few watches that are singularly masculine, and fewer that are serious works of watchmaking for women. This is one such.
The cut of the zalium is amazing, sharp and precise to the eyes, yet not sharp to touch.
I saw the watch some weeks ago and was very impressed. The design and feel of the watch are perfect, for the reasons Bernard already outlined. In fact I think this watch is far more attractive than most of the men's watches for HW. Congratulations to your wife!
