But personally I would not trade the bleu. I probably don't wear mine as much as I should but every time I do it is complete enjoyment. It's a stunning watch and one that I do not intend to part with. Good luck.

The FPJ Bleu is a stunning watch. I cannot possibly imagine what you are trading for that will look better on your wrist (but like everyone on this thread, can't wait to know!). Stay strong!

I've debated the same...
Went back and forth on selling my CB for a while. Same issue, just don't wear it enough. I figured out that it's more of a colder weather watch as the deep blue and grey tantalum case gives the watch a mix of both somber and elegance. So I gave myself the first few months of this coming winter to feel it out. FYI, the watch is incredibly difficult to obtain now new. Boutiques in Europe have a multi-year waiting list.
I think you're making the right decision
I longed for the FP Journe CB for the longest time. Wanted it so badly. Until one day... I go to see one of my ADs and he tells me... "What? Why do you like FP Journe so much? You do know that their watches are always problematic?". He then proceeded to tell me that everytime he sells one of the Octa lines that there will be an issue and that they would need to send the watch back to Journe. I digged around more as well, asking a famous Journe collector if he's experienced the same issues and he also told me that he had an issue with one of his Journes.before.
Also, I think the funky-ness of the Journe will eventually go away when you meet a really nice classical watch like a Patek or if you find a watch with a better movement like a Lange. (all of this IMO obviously).

I've had no problems with my Journe's nor have friends of mine. His watches are incredibly well-made.
I think you should do it, not because the CB is a bad watch
it isn't, in fact it is a phenomenal watch but since you had gone through the whole thought process of trading it, it means that you were ready to move on so you're just having seller remorse but will pass rapidly

Once a watch or watches have been seriously considered for trading, I think it is just a question of time before they go for good.
I remember desperately wanting one vintage watch belonging to a friend. Wanting trades instead of cash he made me work very hard. I had to look deep and consider watches that I originally did not know I was ready to let go. I got the watch. My friend looked at a series of watches involved as potential trade material. All of those watches are now gone or on their way out. Sometimes, this kind of experience can work as a catalyst and as a catharsis.
It is after all a very heathy experience.

has been a piece I've been always wanting my self but I'm in a pickle too. When a friend shows me a piece like this
makes me want to say screw it and go for this because i will never find this ever again.
i know right now its out my price range but willing to sell my car to enjoy this for a long time.
