My first one and very pleased. Quality really is quite remarkable. Very comfortable notwithstanding the large size and some of the details are very interesting. I believe that less than 1000 watches have ever been made by GF. Can someone with expertise confirm this please?

Commonly admitted, GF makes approximately 100 timepieces per year (last few years I suppose and probably less at the beginning of their common story).

Given that their company has more than 10 years of existence, it is difficult to say if they have already exceed the 1000 timepieces threshold.

As a new client, may be you can ask them.

I had dinner this week in Naples with North American sales team . They make 100 watches per year.

And I guess they were making a lot less than this at the start which implies aggregate below 1000 in 13 years is entirely plausible. Appreciate the info. I believe also they have a massive workforce given the low output, like 150 people. Seems a lot for 100 watches! Is this accurate any idea please?

It is the penultimate step on my watch collecting journey. The final piece of the jigsaw is a custom unique piece from a top house due in about 12 months.
