For this helpful analysis and clarification. As you know, I have always been (and remain) a fan and supporter of LF and all independents.
The GP minute repeater movement debuted in 2010, and was completed by no later than 2009. I do not doubt that Christian Ferrier may have assisted in the development of this movement, together with his other colleagues at Fabrique du Temps. But I am a little concerned that LF has decided to release a $345k version of the same movement almost a decade after it was originally developed by a third party company where the founder’s son happened to be working at the time, and after it has already been used in watches from at least four other brands (including Louis Vuitton and Ralph Lauren).

Is simply awesome. I certainly was not criticising the micro-rotor pieces in Galet Square or Galet Classic cases, which are stunning and distinctive.

Actually I found your posts both insightful, forthcoming and real. Nothing wrong about putting your view out. I just had to share a photo or two to diffuse the tension — no other intention my end! This is a place where we share our thoughts and passion for watches. I also think it is important, to know how to agree to disagree, and not getting upset when there are differing views. After all, if one can afford a minute repeater, why does he/she need to care about what the world thinks of it?

The steel square blue dialed version is my target. Nevertheless there is nothing wrong with some clarification regarding the content of a watch. Especially not at Watchprosite.

Was a bit of a tongue-in-cheek comment. Of course, nothing wrong with the micro rotor versions. I love them

From the information I was given in the past, the FP JOURNE centigraph F was going to be made in a very small production. 

The Centigraphe F is a "boutique piece" only in that it is made-to-order, so it can only be bought via an official boutique - no different than say, the Sonnerie Souveraine. There has been no deception from F.P. Journe on this; when F.P. Journe makes a limited edition, the serial number is inscribed as such (e.g., X/5, XX/28, XX/99, etc.).

In any case, very few Centigraphe F were ever made - so if you have one, rest assured you are in very select company.

That was my point. No limited serial number means not a limited edition.

LF is a company not a man. Of course they will do what’s necessary to turn a profit and they may do it in a way that feels like the values and practices of 29 years ago as opposed to 1 year ago... I’ve view this brand as very very nice... not Holy SH”t  other world manufacture... this is an exceptionally nice CO, not a man or singular artist.
