In 'Deployant' Peter Chong noted that Jens Schneider is taking over L&H and wants to use the type of rounded bridges Marco developed in the Georg in the rounded models. It's pure speculation as to what Marco Lang will be doing, but he's been working with Uhren Werke Dresden (UWD), having already developed the UWD 33.1, and he may be doing movement development for UWD full time. Then there's Rolf Lang of Dresden ... Marco's dad's watch company. A Lang & Söhne of Dresden? That would be wonderfully confusing! Note the similarity of the bridges in the UWD 33.1 and the Caliber VIII and the whole structure of the balance and regulator:

There's a certain style, Redcorals, that's far closer than apparent at first blush. In your mind's eye, rotate the UWD so that the crown at the same angle as the Caliber VIII. Not identical, but artwork by the same artists. (BTW, I mislabeled it as VII in the caption...my bad.)

Willie was suggesting if Marco were to work his father, Rolf Lang, then the company could be called Lang & Sohne but this one being based in Dresden. That’s where the irony/confusion would come into play.
Notice the “e” missing of this Lang surname?

Sad at least for me to see these type of indi guys like Peter Speake-Marin leaving their original companies. Now both L and H have left Lang and Heyne.

On January 20, 2019 Rolf Lang's website seemed to be making new announcements... rolf-lang-dresden.com

If only one liquidator is appointed, he represents the company alone. If several liquidators are appointed, the company will be represented jointly by two liquidators. Eliminated: Managing Director: Shaburov, Igor, Samara / Russian Federation, b. 19 ??. Function changed, now: Liquidator: Lang, Rolf, Bad Gottleuba, b. 19 ??, entitled to individual representation; with the power to enter into legal transactions on behalf of the Company with itself or as a representative of a third party. The company is dissolved."

I talked with a rep from Rolf Lang Dresden and the notice by Saso (re: north data) was about the "liquidation" of a business relationship with some Russian company; not the company.

Company relationships are not part of the "Handelsregister" except it is a subsidiary company, which is unlikely as the "Rolf Lang Dresden GmbH" is clearly named. Also the "Elektronischer Bundesanzeiger" clearly states regarding the Rolf Lang Dresden GmbH: "Die Gesellschaft ist aufgelöst. Die Gläubiger der Gesellschaft werden aufgefordert, sich bei ihr zu melden." [The company is dissolved. Creditors of the company are requested to contact the company.] as of January 22, 2019.

I contacted Lang, and his rep. told me that they did indeed liquidate one of his businesses. He still has one left; so Saso, you were right; one business was liquidated. I didn't know he had two, but he's certainly in business still... wonder what will be next?

I am currently working on Azur, a new pocket watch with 2 barrels, crown winding and setting, it will have a silver engine turned dial with a Tantalum case and display back and it will have my unique shaped wheel cocks that others have copied and yes there was no recogintion at all. very annoying.
As you correctly say, credit where credit is due.
