Lovely watches.

I like the aesthetics of this watches. Definitely in my taste. I personally prefer central seconds. The second one would be perfect with sub dial on 6 o’clock.
Really nice watches with right case sizes.

I agree Claudio...in deed there are very few 'simple' watches around 37mm today...i think the case size is coming back as i see most brands coming to 38/39mm now ! [nt]

Yes, why not ....

Lots to like. It would be good to see a wrist shot. I think the price should be considered at Yen 1,800,000 +Tax.
Thanks for sharing this.

it was the first pic they've put on insta...hope more info should follow soon... [nt]

Solid silver dial.

i love the restrain in the dial...very understated albeit reminds me of the old PP or a recent Longines sector dial - no?! [nt]

Great size, gorgeous numerals and I actually like the colour of the dial and the case shape.  A real winner!  Thanks for posting Mahesh.

+1 Sham !

I wish he had restrained that subdial

 By: cazalea : April 4th, 2020-06:15
So it didn’t take a bite of 8 and 10.
I couldn’t live with it...

Cazalea

true...would have been better in deed ! [nt]

Great piece. Really like the first one pictured.

 By: vitalsigns : April 4th, 2020-06:43
Wish it was a bit bigger in the 39mm range.

Cheers,
John

in deed John, a good time piece...i think the case size is classy but my modern standards it might be considered small.

 By: mahesh : April 4th, 2020-06:49
I think he didn't intend to match the modern trend as the dial is designed to 50s styling imho

I think you're right.

 By: vitalsigns : April 4th, 2020-07:02
Seeing the more casual nature of the piece, I thought a more casual size would be nicer too.
37 mm is perfect for a dress watch under a well-tailored cuff.
And of course, I am thinking of my wrist alone smile

Looks nice. What does the movement look like? (nt)

i believe it is a closed case back but no details on it nor the movement...i'll let you know if there is any info further ! [nt]

it is Valjoux 7750

 By: mahesh : April 4th, 2020-21:37
New dial version around $20k

Type 1c around $17k

Many thanks for sharing this option my friend

 By: Mike H : April 4th, 2020-14:21
Probably a very nice version but I would be happy to see more details including the movement...

In the same spirit totally, I remember this iteration that was shown to us here by our friend sham1.
I really liked it also...
Very classy imho...

the Nakagawa is a very interesting one....offers tons and tons of black polished surfaces !

 By: mahesh : April 4th, 2020-22:49
also the new white dial is an intersting one too. Unfortunately, both are closed case backs smile - what i got as feedback for the Naoya Hida is both of the watches carry a Valjoux 7750 movement stripped to Time only features...sadly no pictures of them :-(

Prenez soin de vous et votre famille mon ami !

I like ...

 By: Euroasianstar : April 8th, 2020-05:22
... based on standalone design aesthetics and size. Classic.

In terms of value for money would rather get a custom made piece from Torsti Laine and have some change left to buy a few Longines retro re-editions.
