Awesome. It looks like you are ordering it direct from the brothers, because ADs get allocated pieces, from what I’ve been told.
That being said, tell us what is in your current collection, your skin tone, if you are partial to gold or steel, if you are a salmon guy or a white dial guy, baton polished numerals or Roman numeral stamped numerals kinda guy?

Many have opted for the salmon dial so for me it has become a bit too common. I would go for the off white dial with the roman numerals in steel with a brown leather strap which is quite a conservative classic look. Either that or the silver dial with the baton markers is a safe bet with a black or dark blue strap. I personally worry about coloured dials on watches as I fear that they will not stand the test of time. I may of course be wrong.
That’s the one that grabbed my attention when the principia was first announced.
But I’ve since caught the blue bug. So ‘2020’…I know 🤣🤣🤣

There‘s a lot of best choices imho.
So whats more important to you, the dial or the case material? I‘d decide the more important one first and then go on from there.

I will definitely go for the steel case.
My first choice is salmon with a blue strap. I prefer baton over roman as it seems that baton numeral represents Gronfeld design language, while roman dial can be found in other brands. Not sure if I am right about this.

Steel is of course very versatile. Except for the one with roman numerals, I‘d ltake every dial in combination with steel.

During my latest visit to there atelier I tried a few Principia,s and ofcourse its all a matter of taste and because i am a sucker for Salmon dials that would be a logical choice for me but i have to admit you can’t go wrong with any dial options imho . The turquoise dial is def one of my fav .

Maybe with a dark blue strap to match the blue hands

Imho, I have recently got my Principia and the salmon dial with the blued hands is just beautiful! As well, the dial on the salmon is mildly frosted or I could say sanded and shows a very nice glow in the sun. My second choice was the baby blue dial since you would have a dial color that isn’t made usually for other watches, and it being beautiful.
