A surprise early Christmas present!
My wife and I stopped by our good friends at Oliver Smith in Scottsdale to say "HI" and collect a couple of straps we had ordered. I knew all about the limited edition they had commissioned for Oliver's 40th anniversary but expected them to have sold out the Tondagraph Annual calendar chrono but no, they still had #5 of 5! My wife said "do it!" and who am I to argue with a woman of such good taste? Anyway, here are the first few snaps:

Brown is a funny color...
One I never expected to like on a watch, and I've tried a few. This one really speaks to me though! My only other brown watch is my Reverso Chocolate, which I adore.
Another really good PF that we are seeing today -- congrats (to both! ;-) on this excellent chrono choice! Enjoy.

I live in the east valley, and thought about making the short drive to the store to see them. PF is one of my three favorite brands, as I have three Tondas at the moment. Was very pleased to hear that they decided to reward Oliver with a custom piece as a thank you for being a loyal dealer, much deserved. Have yet to buy a watch from his shop yet, but will in due time; the couple times I've been there though, were very pleasant trips.
Enjoy, that is one superb piece and hope you have it for years to come!

PS: on second thought, I think my purchase from them may be sooner-than-later; just remembered they're a dealer for two of my favorite brands, PF and Blancpain. hmmmmm.......

I've been a fan of PF for several years, since seeing my first Tonda. I've enjoyed doing business with Oliver Smith for maybe 15 years now and can recommend George and Ryan as great and knowledgeable watch guys. Say “hi” for me when you get there. Like you, I'm a fan of Blancpain and just recently let them talk me into another! Don't miss their pre-owned watches, they often have interesting ones, that's where I got my Leman split seconds flyback.

That looks like it was a great event. I've been a fan of Parmigiani for several years and tried on a Tondagraph a while back and liked it a lot, so this one didn't catch me entirely by surprise.
