Did you consider the “Ultra” ?
Thanks Capt. Ultra doesn’t look like a comfortable watch for me, as it’s close to 50mm in size. Actually I only wear a smart watch when I’m engaged in sports activities. For my taste, mechanical watches are still the best but I m open to new ideas

It will never replace my watch,
but I often wear mine in the gym when traveling and I love to play with the different dials.
Paying for my cup of coffee in town and opening the gates at the airport are other features
that I find a lot of fun. Of course, the iPhone can do the same.

I wear an Apple watch all day to track health data, like heart rate and steps. Also as a watch collector, I regularly wear two watches, one being the an Apple Watch and formal occasions it a the Hermes apple watch.

I love Apple, but i have enough stuf that needs a power outlet.
I am not a wire jockey, and want not spending time to plug in plug out and watch battery symbols.
I hate devices that eats power, while the developers do not upgrade batteries.
A new skin, another case color are weak points to bring it like it is a revolution.

I am so ticked with Tim Cook for not standardizing the device jacks…infuriating and wasteful…until the I watch is 100% solar it is useless for me.

Yeah, and so on Rolex owners, Omega fans, Cartier connaisseurs, still wear the watches after 30 years and more, while Apple watches not survive harsh envoirements, do not increase in value, thrown away products, battery life decrease heavily, always stupid cables to charge batteries, always silly updates of operating systems and mostly on moments when you want do other things.
I never understood why H Moser&Cie had that Apple watch case models.
Last but least, When you or a beloved one have a milestone to celebrate, a Rolex is a good way to do. An Apple watch? It even have not a case back to engrave a text that is be special.
