the cutout for the map is bespoke because it had to include 3 important places for me:
Hamburg
Hong Kong
Bora Bora
The colors of the continents and the sea are different than on the normal Edition.
All 3 places are marked with a golden dot on the cloisonnee dial.
The Cityring has many changes to incorporate many of my favorite places
The rotor has the magic lozonge guilloche and is very bright blue ( I have picked up this color in person out of 4 rotors). Magic lozonge is used on the dial of the Svend Andersen Jumping Hour watch.
The movement ring is made out of black nacre vs, white nacre which is standard.

Especially being able to customise the city ring - something I’ve commented on many times over the years; for example, HK is important to me too, so I don’t want SG or BJ (the usual other two cities chosen in GMT+8) on a world timer, which then turns me off from lots of models. Same with a few other cities.

Exactly! I‘ve had the pleasure to meet Svend Andersen in person last November and he took the entire afternoon to talk to us.
The entire experience dealing with Ben Chee and Svend Andersen is so different to the arrogant behavior that you are confronted with by the big brands. I can only say the best about my experience.
