Unfortunately not they are impossible to get.
Once a certain group of collectors buys them, shows them and praises them…. It’s too late to try to get one
With a product of 5-10 or 15 pieces per year it’s as good as impossible
Only if they raise the price by a lot they will become available again
Take the coyon… first series was a steel piece and it was a bargain. For his second series he decided to make only gold and platinum cases. Price went to 35 k or so for a gold piece.
Probably worth the money and I know some guys that orders one. On the other hand these are not sold out…. At 35 k it’s still a good value but not a bargain anymore
Another one to take into account is imo Reima Koivukoski from Helsinki, Finland. Within 2 months or ao I should get mine.

Right now I’m having a project with a guy from Russia who imo also makes superb pieces. Great finishing, makes his own case, dial, hands, finishing of the standard Unitas is extremely well done.
Anyway, it will take about 8 months before I get mine.

All I want to say….. there are still fantastic artisans out there that are still undiscovered and offer fantastic work for an unbelievable price… but you have to do your homework
The first series was a real bargain, indeed. The second, even if beautiful, not so much. You are true for the Independents you mentioned. There are pure treasures to discover off the beaten paths.
A couple of small corrections:
1) Pascal is making steel cases for his series 2. I am about to receive a steel second series. He made steel available since several of his Middle Eastern clients specifically requested it.
2) Pascal is no longer taking orders for his series 2, so it is "sold out," although I don't believe that it is strictly a limited edition watch. However, when a watch takes 3 years to complete (as for me), I believe you can consider it fairly limited.

Pascal Coyon
is a French watchmaker who graduated at the same time as LeComte. They both attended the same school, Lycée Edgar Faure, and Lecomte continues to teach there. This school has created a generation of very promising young French watchmakers, including Remy Cools, Theo Aufret and Cyril Bevet-Naudot.
Pascal is more of a traditionalist, focusing on extremely fine finishing. His watches are essentially etudes, or technical exercises, in fine finishing.
