Cellini for example hasn't had a single DB on display for a while now but they did get in a 1 of 50 JPS DB28 recently. It's good to see WB is still supporting ADs and the watch was gone in a few days so the watches are still moving quickly. I did make a few inquiries into a DB25 last year when things were peak madness, ADs had no idea when more watches were coming (not just from DB), and it took a while to find the right person at WB to have a real conversation with and they were open about struggling with.... everything... but said all the reasonable things acknowledging the demand challenges. Repeat DB buyers are/were also waiting 12-18 months for a DB25 at that point so I didn't see any line jumping, everyone is/was waiting on production.

I have only one DB in my collection - the DB25 Starry Varius GMT. Absolutely love this watch and purchased at MRSP from Watchbox.
I’m glad that you got a response from them regarding their boutique opening schedule and allocation process. I have alway found them to be a first class operation and honorable to deal with.
I was offered the new 40mm DB25 perpetual but took a pass as I’m hoping to get the blue dial platinum FPJ from the new London boutique - when it finally opens. I couldn’t really justify 2 perpetuals with similar characteristics.

But like others, I think it’s now tough to justify pricing. What is funny about watchbox is that they told me not to buy one in 2019 😂 

is really something truly special in person. I love this configuration (Starry Varius, Rose Gold) so I went for it. Definitely a grail in my collection.

In particular hand and dial finishing, the parts you look at everyday, are some of the best out there at any price.

pricing is a very complex theme. The investments are huge and not as easy to ammortise with small quantities. Therefore is difficult to compare to mainstream brands like the usual suspects. This video www.youtube.com from Master watchmaker Denis Flageollet explains it very well.
My personal experience was great and I was totally in love ❤️with the dial, the stars, the hands. I also love the proportions (8.8mm height). A very exclusive piece not seen as much in RG so, with the option to buy a new piece, I didn't want to miss out.
