Dornbluth & Sohn have finally caught my eye... and my wallet is shaking in fear.
This is the 38.5mm by 11mm regulator from Dornbluth & Sohn. I never really liked their watches for their size, thickness and polarizing dial design. But this.. wow... and for the price? I need to remind myself that watches and wonders is less than half a month away, otherwise I'm in deep water.

As it should with this reference! 😉 Typical Dornbluth are too large for my wrist. But the 04.0 I owned had these same proportions (38.5 x 11 mm) and it was perfect ! Dirk Dornbluth is a true gentleman and makes an exceptional time piece
Am I the only one that wonder about the position of hour hand? Questioning about the minute hand or a bad rendition.

A lovely dial matched by a well finished movement. A very under rated brand. We talk a lot about A. Lange and Grossmann but Dornbluth is Germany's hidden gem.
Very odd regulator. Don't think I've ever seen one with both minutes and seconds hands central. Most often both hour and second is decentralized.

I really like Dirk's work.
