But it belongs to Moser respectively Meylan.

I never thought I would fall in love with this brand!

But it was love at first sight. Visually exciting, technically exciting. Beautifully made.

Not a watch you see every day, but still suitable for everyday use and wearable every day (PR 72h, WR 10ATM). Yes, the watch is black, but it has so many facets of black and dark grey that it doesn’t look like a dark monolith on the wrist - especially in daylight.

Here plays the music ☺️🙏:

P.S.: After this teaser, I almost didn't dare show the watch. 😁

Hautlence!!! Wow, it has been at least 15 years I didn't see one!

MELB Holding (also the owner of H. Moser & Cie.) decided to relaunch the brand with a new collection in 2022.

The most striking watch in 2022 was the Linear Series 1.

In 2023 @ W&W they presented - amongst other releases - the Linear Series 2 (this is my watch).

The watch measures 43mm × 50.80mm and has a height of 11.90mm.

It shows a variety of finishings, brushed surfaces and polished bevels.

The dial of this marvel is all about depth and layers. Most areas are grey or black coated, only a few parts are in blue (the brand’s signature colour).

(picture from their website)

If you have a closer look at the dial you will see a scale on the left side. It displays the hours in a linear way (thanks to an exposed linkage). A small white pointer on the end of the linkage indicates the hour on the vertical scale. Once the 12 numeral is passed, the linkage jumps and returns to 1.

The display module was created together with Agenhor.

The minutes are displayed in the central on a sapphire crystal disc with raised white numerals, which gives a nice 3D-effect. And there is a one-minute flying tourbillon on the lower part.

This all belongs to their calibre „D50“ (which is identical to the Moser in-house automatic Tourbillon calibre HMC 804).

The display module is placed on top of this calibre D50.

You can look at this Watch for Hours and always find new things. ☺️

Yes, there is a lot to see and admire, here.

Why did you give it away??

Do you have a wristshot from earlier? ☺️🙏

Dear Mike, by adding a start photo to this thread afterwards,

you have "killed" my beautifully constructed puzzle. 🙄

When I get around to it, I'll make a separate post with lots of photos and first impressions of wearing. ☺️

What I can already say is that this watch has not left my wrist since the acquisition 🙏

All the best
Thomas

Hautlence tourbillon! I did post it before seeing the reveal 😅

I saw the blue at Bucherer and was also a bit of a love at first sight 😍but I didn't go for it..no regrets as I had just bought the Carl F. Bucherer tourbillon a few months before so two was a bit excessive for me!
Enjoy the great watch, really unique!

Hahahaha - “a bit excessive” is my permanent feeling when it comes to watches…
