If anyone remembers i was trying really hard to find someone who could make me a custom strap. No one would do it. I was able to finally find someone that would take an old strap, cut it apart and make me a custom velcro...Here is todays wrist shots
isnt the issue its the inserts that connect to the watch...you need to cut them out of another strap from factory used or new and then harvest the pieces and find a maker who will deal with them. it took me atleast 15 different emails to people till i found one and it was someone out of country...
I know this question wasn't directed at me but I really like the three Devon watches I have. I have one Tread 1 and two Tread 2. The Tread 1 gets the most attention and questions when I wear it but it is a large large watch. The Tread 2 is more accessible and wearable for an everyday watch.
He's part of a skeleton crew still working there, but he can connect you with all of the old suppliers who made the OEM straps and possibly a few more, too. The brand's kind of awaiting a reboot.
In "Avengers: Infiniti War" and "Endgame." I spoke to the Devon people about it, and no money changed hands. They provided it to the prop department and RDJ just selected it from a box of options as his notion of a watch the fictional Tony Stark would wear. My video of that watch went up long before the movies, but it's become one of the best-viewed things I ever posted. Best, Tim
I've purchased a few Devon watches over the past year from Darrell and he's very communicative and helpful. He can get the straps as he got some for me.
I couldn’t wear it though with my scrawny wrists, but I do love the style. And the strap looks great, would like the same style for one of my pieces, though haven’t decided which one.
