Everyone obsesses about small stuff, in my case I love this crown, they’ve always had good taste there. I have a Grönefeld (One Hertz) and every time I post about it on Insta I get the whole Grönefeld family as well as their main brand account engaging with the post, including their adult kids. My adult sons love my watches, I’ll be more likely to let them borrow a Grøn than my Grönefeld.
Brand strategy is easier to start high and then come into a broader market with a bridge line, rather than going upmarket. Max Busser was also able to quench some demand by launching a sub brand with off-the-shelf calibers. Not sure LUC gets the full respect that brand deserves because it’s *just* a Chopard.
We have seen brand diffusion lines in the couture and fashion world. Armani could not have become who he was had he not introduced Emporio and Exchange.
