Some coffee time in a small town this morning. They have a surprisingly good coffee shop which I discovered a couple of years back and has since become my go to.
As for the C6, this one has served me well, and it’s gotten a lot of air miles since picking it up last year.
Still with the orange strap, I meant to change it before I left last week but kinda ran out of time (and the strap changes for the C is quite fiddly actually, but fret not as when I met Romain last month he told me he has a solution).
You know, the last trip I made without this one was when I saw you last year.
I’m thinking I’ll need to give it a rest next time !

Yes Nicolas, those are key attractions for sure.
As I have mentioned a bit here, lightness and comfort have been a focus for me in recent years.
In fact my last three major watch purchases have all been that; all in the 50-60g range.

But generally the quality of shops in the country, even outside of the cities, has improved significantly.

First, RG have been very generous with straps. For the most part with these rubber straps they have gifted them.
I said interesting comment a I had seen the C6 mounted on another strap at the manufacture last month (I think a strap for the C5). And it looked really good.
I asked could I buy one but the answer was no; they do not want mix straps across the various versions of the C. So you can obtain what the spec’ed for your version, for the C6 that is gray, orange and white.
If you want to mix straps, and you will online that some people have, you need to own multiple C watches. Or somehow acquire the strap otherwise.
I understand their position from a brand perspective. I don’t agree with it though.
As for the solution; no, it is something else.
