I have tried to contact them to know if they are still around but unfortunately it seems they are now defunct which is extremely sad as they were one of my fav watchmakers of all time. RIP, your watches were too beautiful for this world !
If I’m not mistaken the belong to a Belgian investor

Joris ide, he made money with steel, steel used for the construction industries. I believe he and his son were interested in watches and they create the brand Lebeau Courally ( was famous for high end guns ) suddenly making watches was imo not a good idea. And buying Coudray to play in the top Leaque was also a mistake. You might like watches and you could have made money in the steel industry but very often that’s not enough to just start your own brand an buy another very high end brand, just throwing money on the table is not what it takes to become successful in an industry you know nothing about
I have no idea but I agree, the industry is super difficulty to get into and there are so many other independent watch brands that have failed....

even succesful ones like Debethune have had many years of financial difficulties before becoming popular now (which is still not as popular as Dufour, Roger Smith, others....) so having that strewerdship is super important......i just hope someone who knows how to make it successful but still maintain its image comes through (like Pascal Raffy!!)
But I also think the timing was off as well, especially when you look at how watches that are time only have gone to be sold for almost the same like the Atelier Aubert & Ramel +Bédat Reference 1825 are also 70 k.... I think the market wasn't ready for time only watches to be sold at that price..... But they are regardless way to expensive lol 😂 understand but wish they were cheaper
Never heard of them. Yet it’s always nice to hear of a fellow collector’s experience. It is this personalized journey of ours with watch collecting that makes it so interesting. It should never be primarily about the monetary value of the timepiece. The journey is what matters. Looking forward to see more photos of the watches from this brand.
