I did not ask them why, I was quietly grateful! But I assume after Watches and Wonders, someone might have cancelled after seeing something else they liked. Interestingly the 50% deposit would have been non refundable but I suppose if you are a VVIP or a established customer, then, perhaps a refund may be negotiated or perhaps even a change from the lapis lazuli to the tiger eye dial.
