Just read that A unique Romain Gauthier Logical One Secret was stolen from Romain during a Swissair flight to Hong Kong.
Unfortunately it is sadly true…

It was in a bag in the overhead racks, no one could have imagined that it would be stolen in his bag in Business Class…
Apparently it’s not the first time that it happens (in First or Business Class). Never ever leave valuables in an unattended bag, specially during long haul flights… Best it is to strap your watches on your wrists or at least lock your bag securely in the overhead racks 🤷♂️
So sad story, also it was a very special piece unique…

For years, I am in the habit of traveling with 1 watch. And it does not leave my wrist.
It is a bit sad, as often as I would like more than 1 piece, but I always end up deciding it is not worth the risk. It also limits what I wear, as I usually choose something unknown to others. So no AP, no colored gold (I only have one of those anyways), etc. One time in the past year I did travel with a second piece. It was in my carry-on and stored above the seat. I don't think I closed my eyes once on the flights.

Apparently it's been offered to people in China, and now its made its way to the US as its being offered within the US too. The main sales rep guy posted about it. Sad seeing a small business run into this.
It is a different world now. The fact that it was in Biz Class surprises me, but then again…
