That's right. The rotor is actually pretty cool
however his movements are not too elaborate, acceptable given the price range of
his timepieces.
Is that the larger version?
I found it too small. But I recall Sarpaneva makes a larger (40+ mm) version,
which I reckon will be very attractive.
The right size
I don't think it's small, but it's 38mm. I get it 2nd hand, so not much choice 
But the price to fun ratio is very sweet.

This is what Mr. Sarpaneva wrote to me:
"The LOISTE II model which you have has
been designed and made by me here in Finland, the case (special hardened
stainless steel),dial has been hand made and the movement hand finished
under the dial (because the "moonphase" is visible from the dial side).
The moonphase mechanism is my own design and made same with the "Turbiini"
winding mass."
I don't have any other info, but i think there is old threads about this watch here.
Congrats CEN! The Loiste is a very distinctive watch....

How many times you bought a watch, and the maker contact u directly???
