Hi All!

With all the recent discussions (heated and provocative), I want to start something more jovial!  (it is Christmas afterall!)

How many on this forum has a Kari (or has ordered 1)?  Which one is it and what case did you order?  There is a pictorial below of a PT version which is amazing!  We have done this before for the Simplicity so why not a Kari!

I have just placed an order for the The Observatoire Chronometer. Likely to opt for a Stainless Steel case with grey roman dial.

How many of these dang things are there going to be, anyway?  I have this mental vision of every old guy in Switzerland ransacking his attic looking for a Peseaux 260 so that he can sell it to Kari, thereby enabling the exponential multiplication of this "limited edition" well beyond promises and representations made to pre-existing reservation holders.

Now that I have that off my chest, here's my spec (with the proviso that no one else adopt it in its entirety!):

Rose gold case, silver face, "soleil" central guilloche, Romans, anthracite color numerals and markers, brght rhodium/blue hands, traditional balance cock and movement finishing, and one very small "unique" feature that I'll keep to myself until Jan. of 2009!

Tough but fun choices -- I seriously considered the WG case as well as the eggshell dial, but in the latter case really wanted the watch to "pop" visually.  And Kari's RG is of a color that I can't quite describe -- and is gorgeous to see.
